Learn more about Fusion and Industry Growth
Bay Fusion hosts in-person and virtual events around the north west to help bring together regional cross sector industry, academia and policy makers in support of the growing global fusion sector. We sometimes invite key players from the global fusion sector to come and help demonstrate the opportunities in fusion for our regional industries, and facilitate greater collaboration in areas of R&D, industrialisation and commercial exploitation.
There is currently huge interest and opportunity in fusion technology and associated supporting cross sector technologies, and we want to help inform and promote collaboration in the north west to ensure the region plays a key part in this rapidly growing industry. Our events are usually free unless otherwise stated.

Fusion Public Outreach
Some of our events also include fusion outreach talks suitable for all ages and backgrounds, to help the general public understand the science behind fusion and how this key technology can support the fight against climate change. We sometimes run events in collaboration with organisations such as the IET and the IMechE, to help those working in or interested in STEM careers learn more about fusion.
