Building a Regional Fusion Cluster

Previously, our exciting STEP nomination was supported by a number of regional stakeholders and partners who who demonstrated true capability and collaborative opportunity for the region supporting fusion technology development.

Following on from the enthusiasm this north west wide collaboration achieved, Bay Fusion is starting to build a regionally focused fusion cluster to showcase our regional capabilities, bringing together individuals and organisations who want to play their role helping develop and industrialise this technology which is key to helping combat climate change.

We are looking to curate a cluster of expertise across a wide range of sectors - from environmental protection to precision engineering and data science - as well as sectors more traditionally aligned with fusion.
